4. Academics

Open the Academics menu to set up the school structure and run day-to-day teaching tasks.

4.1 Academic setup

  • Academic Sessions — create the school year (e.g. 2025–2026) and mark the current one.
  • Classes & Sections — add each class (Grade 1, Grade 2…) and its sections (A, B…).
  • Subjects — define subjects and allocate them to classes/teachers.

4.2 Attendance

  • Go to Academics → Student Attendance.
  • Pick the class, section and date.
  • Mark each student Present, Absent, Late or Half-day, then Save.

Teacher Attendance works the same way for staff.

4.3 Examinations & results

  • Exams — create an exam (e.g. First Term) and its papers per subject.
  • Marks Entry — enter obtained marks for each student per paper.
  • Grade Scale — define grade boundaries (A+, A, B…) once; results use it automatically.
  • Result Cards / Gazette / Position Holders — generate printable result cards, the full gazette sheet and class position lists.
